I’ve always liked cheongsams or qipaos and planned to get one some day, but since I found the Soft Film blog I like them even more. I love how the actresses shown almost always wear cheongsams, but they are so varied in fabric and trimmings. Makes me want an entire wardroobe of different cheongsams. All of the photos in this post are from Soft Film. If you know of any other sites about Chinese actresses I’d love to know.

I don’t know the name of this girl but her dress is beautiful. I love the trim.

Helen Li Mei. The trim on this dress is wonderful, and looks so great against the hot pink.

Pearl Au Kar-wai and Patricia Lam Fung. So pretty with their matching outfits. I love the trim on these dresses as well.

Yu Ming and Lin Dai. These dresses are both beautiful. I love that the right one is partly sheer.
